Meet the Owner
Caitlyn Cottrill is new business owner who is in her late 20s. During the day, Caitlyn
teaches special education to elementary students in Cary, NC. She started Cottrillionaire
Baking Co. after being fed up with a lack of vegan options and affordability of them.
“No matter where I went, I could not find desserts I like that I could eat. & if I could eat
them, they were NOT appetizing or cost effective to my teacher budget.”
Caitlyn is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and now lives in Raleigh, NC. Most recently,
she lived in Charlotte where she made the transition to Raleigh in March 2020.
Leisure activities include piano, guitar, drawing & sketching, board games, and spending
time with family.

Founded in July 2020, Cottrillionaire Baking Co. is the new, vegan spot for grabbing your delicious bakery needs that satisfy any sweet tooth.
Residing in Raleigh, North Carolina, Caitlyn Cottrill created Cottrillionaire Baking Co. after a lifelong battle against lactose-intolerance and significant digestive issues.
This company was founded on the basis of easing the burden for people who struggle to eat things outside of what they make for themselves. I have had lactose intolerance since birth and decided last November that enough was enough and went fully dairy free. I struggled to find desserts I could eat, and when I did- they were either A) not good or B) so expensive I’d go broke with how much of a sweet tooth I have. And thus the beginning.
Cottrillionaire Baking company allows those with allergies and specific dietary needs (chosen or not) to have the ability & ease of eating out again. We can’t help it that it happens to taste good for everyone.
